A grandson of Vitkin Village founders, he grew up in Michmoret by the sea and combines a love of the sea and wine, which, as is well known, were created at one and the same time. After working for years in the field of stone and marble, Doron switched his life’s career and became a wine maker. As a self-taught person he learns continuously by attending advanced courses, reading and above all, by working in the family winery.
Sharona’s brother, Assaf, was a pastry chef at “Mitzpeh HaYamim”.
After studying Biochemistry and food Science, went over to the field of wine culture. His inquisitiveness led him to the study of Diplôme National d'Oenologue in the Faculty of Enology in Bordeaux followed by an internship in France, California and Australia. Assaf works as a vintner at the commercial Binyamina winery in Israel, while consulting and producing wine in the family winery, and continues to produce original wines and tastes.
As an architect, enjoyed planning the refurbishment of the winery site and is today in charge of all the subjects around making wine; finance, marketing, public relations , customers, suppliers, packaging and sales promotion.
Sharona and Assf's father. When he retired, he became a member of the permanent staff of the winery.
Avraham was the first winery worker during the change-over from a small winery to a boutique winery.
Today, he is the liaison responsible for ongoing contacts with end clients and journalists.
